Will I be Charged a Late Fee?

We understand that sometimes things can happen which might make paying your bill on time difficult. At Solitary Technology, we aim to be fair and transparent with our billing.

While we don’t apply a fee just for paying a few days late, but, it’s important to understand potential costs that could arise if a bill remains unpaid for an extended period or due to specific payment methods.

Potential Costs Associated with Non-Payment

Although we don’t charge late fees, there are a couple of situations where fees might be incurred:

Accounts Referred to Debt Collection

If an account remains significantly overdue and unpaid for a prolonged period, we may reluctantly need to refer the account to an external debt collection agency. If your account is referred for debt collection, you may be charged fees by the debt collection agency.

We will always attempt to contact you multiple times and work with you to arrange payment before this step is taken.

Failed BECS Direct Debit Payments

When you set up a BECS Direct Debit, the payment is processed automatically. If a direct debit attempt fails (for example, due to insufficient funds in the nominated bank account), our payment processor charges a fee for this failed transaction.

To avoid this fee, please ensure there are sufficient funds in your nominated account on the scheduled payment date.
