What is my billing cycle?

Your billing cycle is the period of time that your Solitary Technology nbn internet bill covers. Knowing your billing cycle helps you understand the charges on your bill and when your next payment is due.

How Your Billing Cycle is Determined

At Solitary Technology, we use what’s called anniversary billing.

Anniversary Billing Explained

Your billing cycle usually starts on the day your nbn service was successfully activated at your address.

Each billing cycle typically lasts for one full month from your activation date. For example, if your service was activated on the 15th of a month, your billing cycle would run from the 15th of that month to the 14th of the following month. Your bill will then be generated shortly after the cycle ends, with a due date usually a couple of weeks later.

Exception for Some Centrepay Customers

For some customers who pay via Centrepay, the billing cycle is set to two weeks instead of one month to align with payment schedules.

If you pay via Centrepay, your billing cycle will typically be every two weeks, starting from your activation date.

Your bill will always clearly state the billing period it covers.

Your First Bill

It’s important to know that your very first bill might look a little (or very) different from your regular monthly bills.

Your First Bill Might Look a Little Funny

The first bill often includes charges from your activation date up to the end of your first full billing cycle, plus the charge for your next full billing cycle in advance. This is common practice and brings your account in line with standard monthly billing in advance.
